Yalikavak
For years, one of the most important areas on the Turkish coast of the Aegean has been a harbor where the boats of fishermen and sponge divers take shelter. Many of the indigenous people today are still sailors. Yalıkavak is living together with the heavy fishing of the sea on the one hand, and the touristic phenomena of the age such as coffee, restaurants and bars, on the other hand. The non-stop scenery, with the fishing boats they bring in the sea and the sparkling yachts that bring their passengers ashore, have a relaxing, both friendly and foreign, unique atmosphere.
